Do I need to prep the surface first and get rid of minor scratches before using MAXEasy?Updated 2 months ago
At minimum, you would wash the vehicle first. You do not have to do any special prep or cut and buff before using MAXEasy. It's always best to decontaminate, clay, polish (paint correct), etc if you have the time, tools, money, and knowledge of how to do that, then apply MAXEasy afterwards; but you don't have to.
You can wash first then apply MAXEasy. You can use MAXEasy on practically anything. It doesn't "fill" scratches though, but it will make them harder to see because of the way it refracts light when the light hits the surface.
MAXEasy makes surfaces look incredible! It is designed to be used frequently and is super easy and quick to use.
Some people use it once a month. Some people who never take their ride out in the harsh elements such as rain, snow, etc use it once every 6 to 12 months. Some people reapply MAXEasy when they notice the water not beading as well as it used to. Many use their windshield as the gauge of when to reapply by monitoring the performance of how quickly water zips off when driving in the rain. It is very flexible and a matter of personal preference.
