MAXL ONE - Solution for Streaks, Smears, etcUpdated 7 hours ago
MAXL ONE with Triphene is the highest performing car care product in the world. It cleans, shines, and protects and has extreme hydrophobicity. MAXL ONE leaves behind a very tough Triphene coating like no other product on the market and it is also concentrated. If you experience any smears, streaking, etc it is due to:
- Using Too Much Product - When too much product is used, the excess product on the surface will appear as streaks or smears. This is easily resolved by using a fresh clean dry microfiber towel to and buff and wipe the excess off. If there is an extreme amount of extra product left on the surface, dampen a clean microfiber towel with DI or distilled water and hand buff to wipe the excess off, then follow up with a fresh clean dry microfiber towel to hand buff to perfection.
MAXL ONE Simple Directions: Fold your microfiber towel in half, then fold it in half again. This will give you 8 sides you can flip to throughout the process and makes it easy to know what side of the towel is clean. On a clean vehicle, spray MAXL ONE into a clean soft microfiber towel (MAXL WorkSoft Towel is best), spray 1 or 2 (half trigger) sprays of MAXL ONE on the surface, then wipe it in. Work on about a shoulder width area at a time to make it easy. Flip the towel to a dry side to wipe off, then use a second clean dry soft microfiber towel to hand buff it to a pretty finish. You don't want to pull the trigger all the way and dump too much product, it's easier when you do half trigger sprays. When your first towel gets too soiled, set it aside and start using your second buffing towel as the new application towel, and get a fresh new towel to be your final hand buffing towel. The average size vehicle requires about 4-6 microfiber towels depending on how large it is, how dirty it is, and how much product was sprayed on the surface. - Not Using Enough Clean Microfiber Towels - If your microfiber towels are dirty or loaded up with product already, they will start transferring that back to the surface making it more difficult to wipe to a pretty finish. Use fresh clean dry microfiber towels often. The average size vehicle requires about 4-6 microfiber towels depending on how large it is, how dirty it is, and how much product was sprayed on the surface. Use good quality microfiber towels, not cheap towels from local chain stores. The best microfiber towels to use with MAXL ONE are the MAXL WorkSoft Lint Free Microfiber Towels.
- Applying In Direct Sunlight or Applying To A Hot Surface - If you are in direct sunlight and/or the surface is hot, it will cause MAXL ONE to dry much quicker than desired and you may notice streaks or smears making it harder to buff off. If this happens, then use fresh clean dry microfiber towels to buff the excess off, flipping the towel to a clean side often as you go. For difficult areas, dampen a clean microfiber towel with DI or distilled water and hand buff to wipe the excess off, then follow up with a fresh clean dry microfiber towel to hand buff to perfection.
MAXL ONE Tips:
Do not press hard while wiping, let the technology of the products do the work for you. Pressing too hard can cause scratches and marring.
Use high-quality soft microfiber towels such as the MAXL WorkSoft Lint Free Microfiber Towels.
Use half-trigger sprays. Do not fully depress the trigger and spray out too much product as that will waste product and dump too much in one area making it harder to wipe the excess off.
You can dilute MAXL ONE half and half with DI (deionized) water or distilled water to make it easier to apply as well ad double the amount of product. This is great for frequent use, fleet vehicles, etc. Durability will go down about 30% but the shine and hydrophobic performance will be the same as full concentrate.
