Can MAXRemove be used as an iron remover?Updated 12 days ago
Yes, MAXRemove can be used as an iron remover. The Acidless Acid™ technology inside MAXRemove is designed to break down iron particles and other embedded contaminants that bond to the surface. If you suspect heavy iron contamination, use MAXRemove at full strength so it can react more aggressively and reach deeper into the contamination.
For severe iron buildup, you may need multiple treatments along with light agitation. The MAXL YellowCell® Hypersoft Sponge is ideal for this because it helps loosen the iron particles while minimizing the risk of marring or scratching. Continue treating and agitating until the surface feels smooth and the contamination is removed.
MAXRemove is extremely effective for dissolving and removing iron, but if any staining or etching remains afterward, polishing may be required to fully restore the surface.
