What is the science behind MAXEasy, and how does it compare to other car care coatings?Updated 2 months ago

MAXL studies the field of science called Biomimetics or Biomimicry. Nature has already figured all of this out. Nature doesn’t try to build super strong protective barriers that last years. It instead just simply regrows them.

That's the science behind Triphene which is what is in MAXEasy. MAXEasy is so easily applied and so quick to apply, you are most likely going to use it all the time to re-grow the protective barrier on your surfaces. That approach will almost always outperform any other coating over a long period of time. When you are constantly "growing" a new barrier, the environment has a very hard time of getting through it.

There's an argument there that hardness level of a barrier helps, which it can help with abrasions, but hardness level in the world of car care coatings is explained in a very misleading way. Car Care Companies measure the hardness level of their coatings on the Pencil Hardness Scale, which is not that strong of a scale at all. It's not like the Mohs Hardness Scale that measures the hardness of gems. A lot of car care companies use terms such as "diamond" and "10H" trying to sway you into thinking their coating is as hard as a diamond, which is absolutely false... It's not even close.

These 3yr+ professionally installed "ceramic" coatings have a place, but you have to maintain them. And the way you maintain them is to constantly put a sacrificial protective barrier (aka topper) over them. If you don't, they develop scratches, spiderwebbing, and swirl marks just like most surfaces will. This normally voids any warranties these coatings are sold with. That's why MAXEasy is awesome to use as a maintenance / booster coating over 3yr+ professional "ceramic" coatings.

MAXEasy will have better hydrophobicity and shine than many of those coatings and will make them last longer and perform better.

MAXEasy replaces and outperforms all those spray and wipe "ceramic" products that are normally used as the sacrificial barrier for professional coatings.

MAXEasy even works awesome on glass where those "ceramic" spray and wipe coatings do not last or perform well on glass.

MAXEasy is a dream come true for detailers to use with their maintenance clients because it is so fast, easy, and has equal performance to the procoatings. It is just a sacrificial layer that you constantly regrow instantly at will.
