Why does MAXEasy have either 5 star reviews or 1 star reviews that are polar opposites?Updated 2 months ago

As with any product, one should follow the directions and not use too much product. 

MAXEasy is too easy. Because of this, a lot of people think they need to use way more product than they should. They don't realize that MAXEasy is extremely easy and 1-2 sprays will spread over a large area when you rinse it. Some people feel like they need to spray every square inch for it to work, and that is simply not true. If that much product is used, there will be a lot of excess product on the surface that will need to be wiped off thoroughly. Its similar to using too much lotion on your skin. The excess lotion (product) has no where to go, so it piles up where you have to wipe the excess off.

When people use MAXEasy properly, they love it. MAXEasy makes things so much easier and the results and performance are on par with $1,000+ professional coatings. 

There are 4 types of negative reviews that MAXEasy gets: 

1. People who use way too much product. One bottle can do 8-10 cars. People who used almost an entire bottle on their car will complain of streaking, spots, etc. Naturally, if you use that much product, you'll have to wipe the excess off with many soft damp microfiber towels. 
2. Amazon left an entire pallet of MAXEasy out in the freezing temps. When MAXEasy freezes, it breaks the formula. Amazon sold these to people without notifying MAXL and these customers had weird issues when using it. We caught this and removed all of those bad bottles off the market, but the people who already used it naturally left bad reviews. 
3. Competitors and their loyal detailers post fake reviews and attack us constantly on social media. 
4. A few people who are newer to car care and don't understand basic car care rules do things that they shouldn't do. For example: They don't understand that you always dry a car off after washing so naturally you always dry the car after applying and rinsing off MAXEasy. They apply MAXEasy over dirt and don't wash first. They spray MAXEasy all over their car and don't rinse it at all. Etc. 

If someone follows the basic rules of car care, and follows the simple directions, they have no issues. That's true for any other car care product as well.

The good reviews are outstanding with videos and images. MAXEasy has thousands of 5 star reviews and a handful of 1 star reviews.
