Why does MAXEasy have either 5 star reviews or 1 star reviews that are polar opposites?Updated 4 months ago

As with any product, it’s important to follow the directions and avoid using too much product.

MAXEasy is extremely easy to use. Because of this, many people mistakenly believe they need to use far more product than necessary. They don’t realize that just 1-2 sprays will spread over a large area when rinsed. Some users feel the need to spray every square inch, but this is not required. Overusing the product can lead to excess that needs to be wiped off thoroughly, similar to applying too much lotion on your skin—it accumulates, and you have to wipe off the excess.

When people use MAXEasy properly, they love it. MAXEasy makes the detailing process much easier, and the results are on par with $1,000+ professional coatings.

There Are 4 Types of Negative Reviews MAXEasy Gets:

  1. Using too much product: One bottle of MAXEasy is designed to cover 8-10 cars. Users who apply an entire bottle to a single car often report issues like streaking or spots. Excess product requires wiping off with several soft, damp microfiber towels.
  2. Issues from freezing temperatures: At one point, Amazon stored an entire pallet of MAXEasy in freezing conditions, which damaged the formula. Unfortunately, these bottles were sold to customers before we could intervene, leading to negative reviews from customers who unknowingly purchased these affected bottles. Once discovered, we removed the faulty inventory from circulation.
  3. Fake reviews and misleading blog articles from competitors: The car care industry is highly competitive, and MAXEasy is often targeted by fake reviews and misleading blog articles posted by competitors or their loyal detailers. For example, some reviews claim MAXEasy lacks durability or hydrophobicity, but these are often based on improper testing (such as not allowing for the 24-48 hour curing time). These dishonest tactics are designed to make the product seem less effective than it really is.
  4. New users unfamiliar with basic car care: Some negative reviews come from users who are newer to car care and may not understand standard practices. For instance, some users fail to dry their vehicle after applying MAXEasy, leading to water spots, or they apply MAXEasy over dirt without washing the vehicle first, resulting in poor outcomes.

If someone follows the basic rules of car care and the simple directions, they will have no issues. This holds true for any car care product.

The positive reviews for MAXEasy are outstanding, often accompanied by videos and images. MAXEasy has thousands of 5-star reviews and only a handful of 1-star reviews.
